The Province of the Lay Dominicans of England, Scotland & Wales share their story with their brothers and sisters in Lithuania, Latvia (Letonia) and Estonia by writing a letter.
Laba diena*… How in this Province do we bring Hope to Christ’s children? Some of our members work with young people in catechesis, someone works with disturbed children in care, others work with the Homeless, one is a lay chaplain in a maximum security prison, someone is a street pastor, others work in schools and universities.
Our older brothers and sisters help with their prayers. All of us try to be faithful sons and daughters of St Dominic and we love to meet our brothers and sisters. Come and see us.
In St Dominic and St Catherine,
* laba diena = good day
* su Dievu = with God
Each Province/Vicariate is invited to share their stories and/or pictures with a next Province/Vicariate, if possible with a meeting. That Province/Vicariate invites the next Province/Vicariate, etc. For the Chain there is a route with a time table, which can be used. If every Province/Vicariate also sends their stories and pictures to the ECLDF website, we will create, in this way, a real chain of preachers of hope throughout Europe until the next Assembly October 2017 in Fatima.
Here you will find the announcement of the Chain and also an overview of all the contributions.
